I thought I was the only one who had horrible experiences with the Deerfield Beach Panera location. I wonder if management reads these things. I would never return to this place if it wasn''t for my daughter. She loves the Pesto Sacchitini and surprise surprise. the last SIX TIMES we ordered it, it was 86'd... Same with other pasta offerings, frozen drinks, and sodas. Seriously how does a restuarant run out of SODA?? I suppose I am a bit demanding as I used to run kitchens. but really, it's very simple if details are paid attention to and NO DETAILS are paid attention to in the case of this Panera location. It's rather sad as the location is primo and the management team is blowing what could be a gold mine. How can they fix it? Easy, have food in the house to execute your menu. Hire and well TRAIN your staff, managers be on the floor or in the kithcen (Or both) ALL THE TIME and pay attention to the details (All of them) Hope someone on the Panera mouintaintop reads this

Finally open!:) This new Panera is in a cute plaza in Deerfield Beach, Right next to Chipotle and across from Aldi. First Panera i have seen with a Drive Thru! Thats kinda awesome! Its even moving quickly in lunch time and seem to be very efficient. I Love the Thai Chicken Salad, The Greek Salad, and my fav the Broccoli Cheddar. The Drive Thru option is awesome, cuz when i walk in and see all the bakery goods, i wanna cry. They all look so good and tempting. Good luck on the new location!

My chicken soup was just broth. How can you charge 5 dollars for broth, it was my lunch as I didn't order a sandwich I called to let them know but they don't even pick up. Not worth it!

Love this new panera location (next to Chipotle) and in the same plaza as Aldi. Major bonus, there's a drive-through line. This makes my lunch breaks so much better!

This place is a joke. Two suggestions: (1) DO NOT place a rapid pick-up order online thinking that you can just walk in and pick it up off the shelf. Because it WILL NOT be ready and when it is finally ready, it won't be correct. (2) DO NOT use the drive-thru. Your order WILL NOT be correct. And this is not a review from a one time experience. I've tried this about 20 times, thinking that this time they will get it together. WRONG! Last night, I placed an order for bagels to be picked up this morning at 11:30. When I pull up to the window, I am told that there are no bagels. Period. Don't you think it would have been nice for them to give me a call to let me know they were out of bagels BEFORE I arrived to pick them up?! Go to the Panera Bread in Pompano Citi Centre. It's more crowded for a reason. It's well managed. And your order is always correct. Bottom line: Save your money and sanity and go elsewhere.

I have been to other Panera Bread restaurants in the local area, and this is the best! The restaurant itself is smaller and more inviting than other Panera Bread restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is welcoming. The Managers and Servers are more than friendly, particularly Keira who made sure I was comfortable. She even recalled exactly who I was, and it had been sometime since my last visit! The workers in this restaurants are clearly going above and beyond. In the past, I went to Panera Bread maybe once every two weeks, but because this establishment is so fantastic, I have started to go twice weekly! I brag to all my clients about this great place. If you are looking for a welcoming atmosphere, friendly workers, and quality food, this is the Panera Bread for you!! DS

Like everyone else, I have issues with wrong orders or missing items. Today I'm having chips and stale bread for lunch at work because my bf went on the drive thru and they gave us cheddar broccoli soup instead of chx noodle. I'm lactose intolerant so I can't have that soup unfortunately. Dear Panera Bread, it should not be my job to check my order before leaving EVERY TIME. If I walk away with a messed up order, it's on you!

Your going back to a 1 star because you gave me the wrong type of bagel today. Too many problems and I can't believe I'm the Duke of this place.

I was headed out to the beach and needed to grab something quick for breakfast. I drove right by Dunkin Donuts when I saw the line wrapped around the building, but then I noticed this newer Panera long US1 and they have a drive-thru! I was trying to avoid going in anywhere as my beach attire wasn't really restaurant appropriate. I don't see many Panera drive-trus, so they get an extra star just for that. I ordered an the egg white breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage, spinach, tomato and cheese. I have to commend Panera that they really try in keeping healthy options available on the menu, and they list the calories, so you know what you're getting into, and not everything there is low calorie. The sandwich was much better than I expected it to be. I figured it would be skimpy and the whole grain bread would make it taste like cardboard, but it had a lot of flavor, and I would definitely get it again. The girl who was operating the drive thru was very friendly, and service was just as fast as it would be at DD...so I think I will make this my quick Deerfield breakfast stop from now on.

This panera is hit or miss. Last time they forgot to give me my drink and left avocado all over the wrapper of my food. I've also received pretty burnt bagels and didn't notice until I got home with them. Some of the employees don't know how to deal with customers. Not all bad, but definitely not always on point.

This is what happened when they forgot to put chicken in our quinoa bowl. Speechless....

The Drive through girl forgot my baked chips and I went in to get them back and the Blonde, female, skinny, tall Manger who was wearing glasses at the time, gave me a hard time just to get those chips... Serious though all that work for chips. Also my orders are never right. Always something missing The chicken noodle soup is always just BROTH! No noodles ever.

Stay away from this place unless you want to constantly receive incorrect orders and find "extra ingredients" in your food. This place is right by my house, so I come here often, but not anymore. More than half of the times I have been here, I was either missing something from my order or received the incorrect order. That is not even the bad part. I have found a hair in my food before, and I'm not talking about a hair from a person's head. I'm not sure why I even went back again, but I found a piece of paper and a piece of plastic in my sandwich last night. I called and spoke to the manager and she seemed like she could care less. I'm so done with this place. Go to the one one Hillsboro and Powerline instead.

I tried their drive through see how's the service. Well, I placed my order and I was told to drive to the window. I got to the window and no one showed up to see why even I was there, so I waited for 5 min and I can see that the employees are looking at me and still no one comes to the window, finally this guy comes and gives me my pastry order and another girl shows up and she realizes that the person who took my order at drive through has left everything just as is and hasn't complete my order yet, I paid and she apologized for employees lack of customer service and delay, then she went and made my latte. At least she helped but the latte cup was not even full. It was filled around three quarters and the latte was cold . Never trying them again.

THERE IS A DRIVE THRU!! Wow, I think that is genius. I love Panera's healthy egg white breakfast sandwiches. Their coffee and smoothies are so yummy as well. Their breakfast is way better than getting those other fast food breakfasts (you never know what they have in them and 90% of the time they aren't good for you). This is going to be my new stop in the morning!

I usually love Panera bread. For some reason, this location cannot seem to get it together. Every single time I come, they are either sold out of everything, or they get my order wrong. This has happened at least five times. It's a shame that this location is around corner from my house, because I will not be coming back. The locations on Copans and federal and Powerline and Hillsboro never seem to have this problem. Hopefully this one will get on track after they've been open longer.

Much like a couple of previous reviews, the rapid pickup option/drive thru was a disaster. Our prepaid order was incomplete. Make sure you check your order before you leave. The customer service was equally as poor when we spoke to the manager. The bottom line...they WILL screw you at the drive thru.

Every time I call in or go through the drive through something's not right. Ingredients are left out of salads, missing sides etc. I'll try them one more time by going inside.
